The next French-Japanese seminar on fluorine chemistry is organized at the University of Nice, from August 30 to September 1, 2015.

Fluorinated molecules and materials are high-tech products with very high added value and are often indispensable in many applications (medicine, biomedical equipment, prosthetics, medical imaging, electronics, agrochemicals, fiber optics, special glass, batteries and battery new generations, building, process engineering, super-hydrophobic materials, surfactants, fight against fire, etc.).

Due to the unique properties of the element fluorine, their development requires sophisticated studies where French and Japanese chemists are excellent. Therefore, this Franco-Japanese seminar facilitates scientific and technical exchange in this field between academic and industrial participants and promotes the emergence of collaborations.
