Teaching activity

I am a member of the department of electronics of the University Nice Sophia Antipolis.
- I am in charge of the course "Laser and Optical fibers applied to medicine" (FLAM - fibers et lasers appliqués à la médecine) for the Master M1 Génie Bio Médical. The course is structured in two parts: a first part is devoted to the description of the principles of lasers and optical fibers, while the second one to the description of their most important applications to medical purposes.
M1 GBM students can have a copy of the course material by writing me an email.
Suggested textbooks are:
1) Laser-Tissue Interactions Fundamentals and Applications - Markolf H. Niemz, Ed. Springer.
2) Le laser : 50 ans de découvertes, Fabien Bretenaker, Nicolas Treps, Ed. EPD science.
3) Lasers et optique non linéaire - Sécurité laser, Mickaël LELEK - Institut Pasteur (cours en ligne: Here)
4) https://toutestquantique.fr/ (for basic quantum mechanics)

- I am also in charge of the course "Matter-radiation interaction" (RIRM - Interaction rayonnement-matière) for the Master M1 Génie Bio Médical. The course illustrate the fundamentals of the interactions between high energy radiation and matter as well as their applications to dosimetry and radio-protection.
M1 GBM students can have a copy of the course material by writing me an email.
Suggested textbooks are:
1) Radiation Physics for Medical Physiscists - E.B. Podgorsak, Ed. Springer
2) Intermediate Physics for Medicine and Biology - Russell K. Hobbie & Bradley J. Roth, Ed. Springer
